Gulfstream Aerospace C-20G Gulfstream IV

The Gulfstream IV is the fourth generation of the Gulfstream family of business aircraft. It has stretched fuselage and a redesigned wing compared to the Gulfstream III. The redesigned wing, along with the Rolls Royce Tay engines, gave the Gulfstream IV a 380-mile longer range than its predecessor. Over 900 aircraft were produced from 1985 to the end of its production run in 2018.

Designated as the C-20G, the Navy acquired four Gulfstream IVs for medium airlift logistic support. These aircraft were built with a large cargo door and cargo ball bearing floor. This allowed the C-20G to carry cargo, passengers, or a mix of both. By 2020, the Navy retired their C-20Gs and replaced them with Boeing C-40 Clippers.
